Samsung Beats Apple In Pakistan
Samsung is the most sought after mobile brand in Pakistan.
A survey was conducted recently regarding Brand – Attitude by a top notch research agency for Samsung Electronics. A consensus of the survey indicates that the company has succeeded in becoming the “Most Loved Brand” in the Pakistani smartphone market.
The survey primarily dealt with interviews where almost 90% of the sample audience wished to get their hands on a Samsung Galaxy device. SNLF has succeeded in building its perception as a top notch brand that has been recognized across the globe due to its performance. The way the company is innovating has actually superseded the expectations of consumers. The best part about the smartphone giant is that they cater according to the purchasing power of the consumers.
As per the recent survey, it is clear that the consumers are actually intrigued by the top notch specifications along with the technologies these devices flaunt. Even those consumers who cannot afford their smartphones have acknowledged that they are enticed by the features and would want the device sooner or later.
The analytical experts talk about technology, innovation and strategy that are deployed by other smartphone brands selling in the region where it has been deduced that the brand health of the company is potentially strong enough to lure an increase in sales in the region in the times to come. It won’t be wrong to say that Samsung has become an epitome of quality in the Pakistani smartphone market.
JH Lee- who is the Managing Director at Samsung has thanked the Pakistani users for their support and trust in the brand taking it to newer heights. He stated, “The results of this ‘Brand Attitude Survey’ reflect our ‘brand-responsiveness’ and our customers’ desire to enhance their professional productivity, social-connectivity and lifestyles, by using the powerful, smart and fascinating technologies offered by Samsung.”
So the company now has a market that they can easily capitalize on. However, there is one thing that they need to consider is the purchasing power of the people in Pakistan. The country is below the poverty line thus by coming up with more cost effective smartphones they can actually churn sales.
On the other hand through brand activations and other on ground activities they can also promote sales among those who can afford the expensive smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S6. So there is a market for both the smartphones that can be cashed easily since the consumers are already awestruck by the company’s products and services.
