Broadcom Co founder Sued For $70 Million By A Woman To Be Abused By Henry
Broadcom Corporation co-founder, Henry T. Nicholas is sued for $70 million by a woman who claims of being abused by him.
The semiconductor manufacturer, Broadcom Corporation’s, co-founder, Henry T. Nicholas, who is worth billions of dollars, is facing a lawsuit of $70 million by a woman from Orange County claiming that he abused her physically and emotionally and did not fulfill the promises he made to her financially. The tech giant company co-founder is facing lawsuit now, as the woman claim he was violent to her and abused her for almost four year when they lived together.
The woman, Melissa Montero, suing the co-founder of Broadcom Corporation mentions in the complaint she filed on the 8th of January that, Henry made a promise to her that if she quits her job and give all her time to him, he will provide for her financially and take care of by paying for her expenses and needs for her lifetime. However he was unable to fulfill these promises he apparently made to her.
She claims that in return for these demands Nicholas made, he promised her to provide her $25,000 every month, but did not do so. The Information Technology cofounder, Henry’s live in girlfriend was a member of his legal team, she was his personal secretary, business adviser and a confidante too. Mellissa was also serving as stepmother to his children from his ex-wife. Montero and Nicholas met when the woman was 34 years old, the couple started dating, following this Montero requested that she wanted have a monogamous relationship with Nicholas and he agreed to it, according to her.
Montero quit her job as manager in a restaurant and moved in with the cofounder of the IT giant, this lasted for almost six years. She also informed that Nicholas used to consume drugs such as cocaine, ecstasy and other prescription drugs. He was also charged with a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine back in 2008, later these charges were dropped within the same year. The lawsuit states that after Nicholas consumed the drugs, he used to abuse Montero verbally and physically.
Montero made attempts to leave and started taking actions to do so, once Nicholas became aware of her plans, he threatened to kill himself and started blackmailing her emotionally. The complaint made by the ex is of 27 pages with numerous abuses and incidents. The couple split up in October according to the complaint.
The cofounder of the tech giant has refused to make any comments regarding this disturbing news, he has not so far replied to any voice mails and messages. Henry T. Nicholas left the company back in 2003 where he was the CEO, after leaving he made the news for charges of regarding drugs and prostitution. He also made announcement the sale of the business to Avago for $37 million back in 2015, May.
